Hi there! Chooi Lin is my name. Chooi Lin is turning 17 on the 16 December, just days after her SPM examinations. Chooi Lin loves her friends. They colour her life. Chooi Lin can be very emo and a pessimist at times, But the other times, she can be very crazy. Chooi Lin had no idea what is she going to do after high school. Chooi Lin wants to leave school soon because of the crappy school. But dreads leaving school because leaving school would mean leaving her beloved friends. Chooi Lin hates studying. Sher Lu
My dearest darling. XD One of the lamest people around but its fun being around her with her lame jokes all the time. ;) One of the person who can put a smile on my face at all times. A great listener and one I will never want to lose. She is one that I will treasure for a lifetime. I just sayang her too much >< She loves me I love her more! XD

Michele
My darling who is like ALWAYS there for me at all time. Without fail, always willing to listen to my complaints and offer me advices! Always caring about me. What will I do without her?! She's like happy all the time. Always making use of me with her RC stuff.=P But I still love her XD & I know she loves me MORE XD forever&always ;)

Kiru
I've known her since Standard 6 and have been great friends with her ever since although we weren't the same class for a couple of year. The walking dictionary is always there for me too. Always coming up with the lamest jokes. Listening to my craze over Rain XD

Kai Lie
The one who I have known for kinda a short period of time but yet always caring and concerned about me. Always text me to comfort and company me. Cracking lame jokes which never fail to make me laugh =) Thanks for being so nice to me and lets keep our promise forever ok? (=

Saranya
A messy and very unorganised person but so much fun to be with. Another super cheerful person always coming up with jokes. Always stressing about her life too. Her presence makes laughter fill a place.

Caroline
The super super lame one who never fails to keep me laughing. When she starts being lame, she never stops! XD Always there by my side to support me and update me with the latest gossips! XD Thanks for filling my life with laughter =)

Larissa
She has been my friend since KINDERGARDEN!! That makes up more than 10 years of friendship! And we are still friends! Great friends. The years of memories with her shall never fade =) There are 10 years behind us and many many more ahead of us aite? =) To think about it, we graduated kindergarden together, primary and this year we'll be graduating from highschooL! Those precious times together! =)

Perrisha
She was my closest friend back in Form 2. Ever since, without fail, every year, she will be the first to text me on my Birthday! After Form 2 we never had the chance to be in the same class but she'll always be a great friend of mine forever and always!

Tan Mei Sann
She has been friends with me for a very long time. We hung out together back in Standard 5! Her laughter easily spreads to everyone around her. Its hard to not laugh with her around you.

She was the one who stood by me throughout 2008 listening to my complaints and was one of my closest friends. Never keeps anything from me =)

Decision made

Finally made my decision about what to study. Have been so frustrated for weeks about what to study and when to start but now I have finally made my decision. Studying AUSMAT in SUNWAY starting in JANUARY. January 4th.

This morning I told my parents about what the counselor told me about A levels and then my dad was like come lets go today to register and I was like WHAT?! So soon?! Got ready and left for Sunway University College. I was so hungry cause I didn't even have my breakfast. On the way there I texted my sister and she said I should take AUSMAT instead of A Levels to save time.

In Sunway, we waited for Vanessa Lim to attend to us but she was busy and another unknown person came to us instead. Anyways the person said it would be better for me to take AUSMAT. So I took the advice and choose AUSMAT. Mom says better for me to stay in the apartment for now until I learn how to drive then I will move to stay with my sister and hopefully Michele will join me too (;

Now that me and michele are college mates and course mates, I am hoping that we will be ROOMMATES! :D and have some classes together too! I can't wait! *excited* Being in the same college as Michele is a happy thing but not being able to spend much time with Sherlu is a sad thing. Liquor experimenting, KL etc is pretty much impossible now. *cries* I'm just hoping that there will be ONE sleepover before college starts.

2009 is coming to an end and there is so many parties coming up! College is in about 1 weeks time. I have gotta treasure my time with my loved ones. *tears*

Skating Christmas (:

Followed Michele and family to Sunway today. Caroline followed along too. First destination was Sunway University College for Michele's college registration. One of the counselor there was really good in my opinion but also rather scary at the same time. Good advice for me and michele (: Maybe I will do A-Levels in Sunway now. MAYBE.

Then we went around looking for a parking so that we could EAT. Round and round but no parking! Went to another place, got parking but no food. HAHA Finally ended up in a Nasi Kandar shop, had maggi goreng then headed to SUNWAY PYRAMID (:

Went walking around, tried some stuff in Nichi. Quite nice quite nice (: Then we went to the skating ring! :D paid, went in and wore the skates. Gosh, it was so hard to walk in those skatesss! But well walking ain't the hardest part. SKATING was terrible! When we first went into the skating ring, I think it was just bad timing cause the skating ring was very wet. Less than 10 minutes we had to go out already cause they wanted to wipe of the water.

Waited so long then finally went back into the skating ring. Skating is so damn freaking hard! Imagine standing on 2 line which is barely 1cm! Your whole weight is supported on the 2 metals! Not only that, the skating ring is SLIPPERY! I managed to go one round around the skating ring HOLDING the sides. Believe me it aint easy. Caroline could do one round only too. Michele is the one with the most achievement. She managed to skate till the centre! *claps* and went for a few rounds

The worse part of skating was when I fell down! Caroline was holding onto Michele, and I was holding onto Caroline. Caroline lost her balance and fell down. She fell so I fell. 2 kind guys were good enough to help me up BUT i couldn't get up!! The guys gave up and Michele and another girl helped me up. *thank you kind people* I had enough and left the skating ring. My pants were all wet!

Waited for Michele and Caroline then we changed into comfy footwear, SLIPPERS. Even after we changed, I still feel like I am on skates, trying to balance! Gosh. Had a drink and toast in Toast Box then headed to Seremban. Had Nasi Lemak for supper before Michele's parents gave me a lift home. (:

Christmas this year was not like the past 16 years (: A meaningful and memorable one spent together with loved ones. Once again missing SherluLee. *sigh* Come back fast please!

Frustrated

I've been so lazy lately. Just some updates and things on my mind.

On the 19th, went up to KL with Michele to Midvalley for the Education Fair. There weren't that many booths there. Collected alot of info about Mass Communication, Pre-U and Business. My bags were so heavy! Inti was the most initiative but very insulting. ):

Inti Lady : Are you looking for a course for your sister?
Chooi Lin : No, for myself!
Inti Lady : *shocked* Owh...

Just because I am taller than Michele doesn't mean I am her SISTER! People shouldn't judge based on height! Walking around, many passed me leaflets but nt michele. XD Sunway didn't participate in the edu fair so we left to Sunway College. Gosh, the jam was terrible! Went to Sunway although we haven't had our dinner. The lady from ADP who talked about Communications got me interested. After Sunway, we left for FOOD! Went to Asia Cafe, I had spaghetti bolognese which was YUMMMMY! Then had dessert in Snow Flake. Then headed HOME.

On the 2oth, went for Aspirer's Christmas Party in Larissa's house. I guess I came a lil too overdressed. :S Games were fun! We played The Pulse Game then Human Knot. FUN FUN FUN! Our group won for the Human Knot! Wheeee!

Then there was caroling. (: Christmas Songs! :D Then it was FOOD. (: Sat around, talked abit and snapped photos. It was like a small Zeta gathering since Kamalini, Darshini, Savita, Latha, Lalitha, Rebecca, Jenaeni, TMS and Michele was there. I have been too lazy to upload the photos from my camera. Why? I wonder too. (:

On the 22nd, I had UNDANG! Spend the whole Monday studying for it but I was still so nervous. Caroline went with me and we saw some familiar faces there like Kumuta and Prav. Kumuta, Caroline and me studied together while waiting for the test to start. Gosh it took so long!! Went about 8am but only sat for the test at about 11am. This is how EFFICIENT our government is. Wanted to go for the Pra-L kursus but it was too late.

I took about 30 minutes to complete the Undang test and I scored 47/50 :D I passed! WHEEE! Kumuta and Caroline passed too (; Pra-L kursus scheduled for Thursday then I can start to learn how to drive! (:

Went out for movie today with Michele, Caroline and Ian. (: Before that me, michele and ian had lunch in Kensington with Caroline and family excluding her father. Was suppose to go Pizza Italia but once again it was CLOSED. Had mushroom soup and some chicken roll with black pepper sauce in Kensington. YUM!

Then we headed to Jusco. Helped Michele decide which frame to take but it looks like she wasn't very decided then anyway. Watched Avatar. (: I really liked the movie! It was abit too long. Nice effects though. This is the kinda movie which makes me wanna be in the entertainment industry so I can be a part of such a awesome production. But I guess its just plain dreams. *sigh* Anyways, Avatar was AWESOME. :D

The thing that is on my mind is

WHAT TO STUDY?!
ARTS OR SCIENCE?!
WHEN TO START?!

From the beginning I wanted to do Mass Communication. After Sunway College I was really interested in American Degree Program (ADP) for Communications. My dad didn't quite like it cause I will have to learn American History etc which is unnecessary. I wanted Mass Communication cause I wanna be in the Entertainment Industry. Be part of a production whether a drama or a movie but I think its only a dream since this is really impossible in Malaysia?

Daphne talked to me too about what to study. She was telling me about Hong Kong University, the uni she is in currently. She said I shouldn't do a degree for Mass Com and do business or accountancy instead. She did A levels then she got into HK Uni which is one of the top uni in the world. I don't wanna study for long in Malaysia so that appealed to me. Now I am thinking of doing Pre-U and decide later on what degree to take up based on my results and which college I will get accepted to.

The problem is, am I very sure I don't wanna do anything to do with science and do pre-U in arts subjects? I'm not very certain about that and I am afraid I will regret my decision. Which Pre-U should I take up?
A-Levels : Recognition into most universities all around the world but it is 100% exam oriented which is not really my thing. A longer course of about 1 1/2 years.
SAM : Not as recognized as A-levels but it is based on course work and exams.
I am not an exam orientated person thats why I wasn't too keen about A-Levels all this while and I heard that it was really tough. Will I be able to go through it? The only reason why I am considering A-Levels now is because of its international recognition! Sunway or Taylors?

If I am to take pre-U i think it would be better for me to start in January since I am afraid I wouldn't be able to cope with the express class in March. But starting in January is just so soon! I'm so not ready!! Its only weeks away and I haven't decided on anything!! Michele and Caroline is already planning to start in January. *sigh* That shortens the time we have left before our college life starts. If I start in January I will hardly be able to hang out with SHERLU! ): If I start in January I will be missing out for more than a week because I will be away in Melbourne for 10 days. HOW?!

SOMEONE EXPERIENCED PLEASE HELP ME.
I need opinions. Desperately need help please.

I know you have been frustrated for days cause of my birthday. Can't attend the surprise, can't get a present, etc. Thanks for making my birthday such an important day for you too. I'm so thankful for all the trouble you went through just to go KL with me on my birthday. Manage to convince your tuition teacher to change class and was daring enough to ask your dad. You had to be a 'good girl' for a week too because you promised you dad you will study so that you will be allowed to go. I'm always touched by your actions. On my birthday you had to get up so early just because you wanted to surprise me early in the morning! Thanks for everything you did for my birthday! You are a person I've known for less than a year yet you are so dedicated to bring a perfect birthday for me. I love you! (: On my birthday you treated me like royalty! Carrying my shopping, helping me with stuff etc. The trip to KL was a memorable one, I hope your first trip to KL with friends will be a memorable one for you too. Don't have to feel bad cause you haven't gotten me a present, your presence in my life is the greatest gift I can ever ask for (;

Seventeen : Midvalley & Third Cake

MIDVALLEY

Picked Michele and Ian up from home and went to the train station. Waited for a while since the schedule I had was an older version. Reached Midvalley and walked around. I had to try on whatever Kailie asked me to. Some looked hideous and some looked nice (: Kailie tried on what I asked her too! Here are some (:

Bought 2 tops then went to the food court for lunch (: Me and Kailie had tomyum (: Surprised that Kailie could eat spicy food! XD Snapped some photos and continued shopping! Bought a pair of flip flops from Studio R. I LOVE my flip flop!! Its STRIPY! Awesomeee! Finally bought an ipod protector (:

Seventeen : The surpriseS

FIRST SURPRISE

Weeks ago, I received a text from Michele which was suppose to be sent to Kailie instead. Minutes after that I received a text from Kailie which was suppose to be sent to Michele. XD So I knew something was up, they tried covering it up but still it was suspicious! HEHE

My parents kept on asking 'So whats the surprise for your Birthday?' and kept on coming up with ideas they had on how they would surprise me. On the 15th, my mom brought me to the pasar malam cause I wanted to go since its been ages since I last went. On the way there, my mom got a call and she answered very short replies, it was so suspicious I wanted to check who called my mom!

I went back home and my dear friends were there! (: Michele, Caroline, Kiru, Belinda, Savita, TMS, Soo Ann, Xin Yin, Swea Mun, Muh Hui, Joyce, Ian and Chen came (; Thank you all for the surprise! It was a potluck and each of them brought FOOD! There was KFC, Dominos, Pasta, Fried Beehoon, Fried Rice, Fried Nugget, Fried Tofu, Yong Tau Fu, etc. Darling Michele and Belinda baked me a chocolate cake!

SECOND SURPRISE

I couldn't sleep and woke up early. Called Kailie to wake her up since we were going KL that day but no answer. I was trying on clothes to see what I should wear. Then Kailie called and said she wanted to go back to sleep and asked me to wake her up after I took my bath. When I opened my room door, I was shocked to see Kailie in front of my door! I even kinda screamed! HAHA!

I took my bath and when I went into my room there was a cake (although I already saw the cake downstairs) Since there was only me, Kailie and my mom, the singing was pretty _______. XD Anyways, Thank you Kailie for making the effort to surprise me early in the morning just because you couldn't make it the night before. *hugs*

Went for 2012 on Sunday with my parents (: Then went to Michele's house and followed her to Terminal 1 for a CPR demonstration conducted by ChenYS (: Learned CPR for the first time. XD A better way to spend my time rather than watch dramas which is what I have been doing for the past 2 days. Then followed her family for dinner at Johnny's. Walked around for a while then they fetched me home. Thanks for the ride (:

My internet is going to be down for a week but I'm not sure starting when. Upgrading from 1MB to 4 MB. Hopefully it WILL be faster. I wanna download korean dramas again! I'm almost done with my American dramas so I need backup! XD My birthday is so soon but I'm so not looking forward for it. I don't know why.

Since I always make things for birthdays, for a change it would be nice to get something made for ME!

I've baked about 5 times for my beloved friends but never gotten any home made cakes before
